Your Counselors

The only thing that I can say about the counselors at Stonybrook is that they are awesome! They are really cool and work really hard to make sure everyone has a good time, stays safe, and is doing their best.

The counselors that I’ve had at Stonybrook have always been really nice and have helped me to do things that I really didn’t think I could. I learned how to fish; I became a better swimmer; they taught me how to row; and helped me to go down the zip line. All of my counselors really believed in me, and that helped me to believe in myself. My friend Erica totally didn’t think that she could do the ropes course, but our counselor helped her through it until she could do it on her own. That was a real accomplishment!

The counselors are here year after year, and some of them were campers at Stonybrook themselves. They really know camp and the campers and they’re great at making everyone feel at home.

The counselors and specialists at Stonybrook know a lot about camp activities, camp fun, and camp kids. Trust me, they’re going to make sure you have a great time!
